Meet the Team

Alastair Lechler

Founder & CEO    


Alastair is a headhunter turned outdoors ambassador and fanatic!  


With an impressive mountaineering CV, and advanced paddlesports and diving qualifications - Alastair bridges the corporate jungle with the Scottish wilderness.


A passion for people and coaching and development - Alastair leads on community development, and equipping ReBoot members with innovative outdoors methods to de-stress and invest in wellbeing.


Combining business with adventure, and sports psychology with mindfulness - Alastair leads innovative programmes to help organisations shift away from the 'fun & fizz'  team nights out towards more effective, and restorative retreats and corporate away days.


Doug MacDonald, owner of Positive Sport Psych.

“Probably the only sustainable advantage we have is the ability to learn faster than the opposition" Doug’s passion is for developing people through understanding how they learn and then working on how we can accelerate that learning process. Doug specialises in working with coaches in helping them to create and develop their coaching environment. Doug has worked extensively with elite athletes, performance coaches and national governing bodies. Doug has an MA(Hons) in Psychology with French, a Masters degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology and is an accredited coach and mentor with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.

Emma Brunning, owner of ActiveBlu Consultancy

Emma is a passionate coach, facilitator and mentor that likes nothing more then seeing her athletes and coaches achieve their goals, dreams and personal challenges. Emma set up Active Blu in 2011 after making a career change from University Lecturing, teaching in Personal development and Education. Previous to this Emma worked as a Learning and Development Training consultant, working with businesses and young people in personal development, experiential learning in an outdoor setting. Emma's love for learning enabled her to gain her degree, post graduate degree and start her MA in experiential learning and development training in the outdoors.

Jane Booth, owner of Opus29 Consultancy

Jane has been working in the sports sector since 1997. She is now a people development specialist providing consultancy in the fields of inclusion, coaching, change management and leadership development. Jane's passion for learning has taken her through an MBA and onto a part-time PhD alongside her ‘day job’. Her studies have enabled her to evolve and shape her work as she endeavours to develop her leadership and management capability and competence on a daily basis. Jane's PhD is focussed on learning from the life histories of experienced leaders in terms of developing a better understanding of the core experiences that have helped them become the amazing leaders they are today.
